Please use common sense when buying or selling merchandise online... if an offer
sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Never provide any credit card or banking
information until you have complete confidence in the other party. Get everything in
writing including all the "buyer's" or "seller's" contact information and details
outlining your agreement. Don't be pressured into a quick sale or purchase of merchandise.
Seller Alerts
Please watch for scams that target people advertising merchandise for sale.
The most common form involves "buyers" who will send you an eMail offering
to purchase your item at your asking price or higher. They will then send
you a forged Money Order or Cashier's Check for an amount larger than the
purchase price. The scammer will ask you to wire the overpayment. Sometimes
The overpayment is said to be for providing transportation of the merchandise
purchased. They are trying to persuade you to part with your good money for
their forged check.
Be extremely suspicious of offers of more money than you asked for, especially
if the "buyer" has not asked enough questions regarding your merchandise to actually
make you an offer. Click Here
